Slip A' fared better blowing away Flag 7-2 with good scoring from Chrissie Noble. Burnholme captain Marj Pearson combined with Nikki Riley to secure a 5-4 win against visitors Castle Howard Ox.

In division two, Cygnet A' player Flossie Crampton closed on 74 against Clifton B'.

Dorothy Barker - Chris Swales were Sun's match-winners at Beeswing while Severus captain Glynnis Simpson (2 x 100) starred against Slipper before her colleague Sheila Elliott sealed victory.

Allison Rattray hit the tons as Cygnet B' proved too strong for visitors Shepherd A' whose Maggie Beddingham closed on 72.

Margaret Haley, of Leeman B', closed on 88 but it came too late at Tang Hall pairing Ann Barker - Mavis Rawcliffe had clinched the division three victory.
