CHRIS Thompson was in blistering form in his last Eurocell Building Plastics Individual League match.
Averaging nearly 91, he included legs of 12,14 and 15 darts, plus 2 x 180 in his 7-0 whitewash over Mark Thornton.
Paul Calpin put last season's disappointment behind him to produce his first win in the league, beating an out of sorts Paul Botterill (2x180) 7-3.
Tony Raymond had a close tussle with Paul Dixon (14) who was struggling to hit the doubles. Raymond took advantage to run out the winner 7-4.
Mick Willsden had a 7-1 victory over Shaun Day to put him in joint second place with Heath Scaife, who was also a 7-1 victor over newcomer Mark Fratson.
