NEWCOMERS Tramways Working Men’s Club have won division five of the York Open Darts League.
Captain Paul Kennelly and vice-captain Mark McLoughlin have been joined in the victorious team by Al Graham, Jamie Alton, Gareth Pegg, Antony Farr and Paul Sumner.
The team have won 14 of their 18 games, including two 9-0 whitewash wins as they finished the season on 111 points. Captain Kennelly and vice-captain McLoughlin have figured in all 18 games.
McLoughlin boasted a 180 and a bull finish during the campaign, while Alton, Graham and Pegg have had 180s, while Pegg has also achieved the three fastest finishes with 18, 19 and 21 darts.
