A DRIVER suffered neck injuries after his car came off the road near York and landed in a ditch.
The accident happened at about 2.20am yesterday at Wheldrake Lane, in Wheldrake.
A passing cyclist alerted fire crews and paramedics.
The driver was cut out of the vehicle and carried to an ambulance on a spinal board before being taken to hospital, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
