Community groups in York have an extra two weeks to apply for a share of £75,000 in Yorkshire Bank’s Spirit of the Community Awards.
Yorkshire Bank has announced that it is extending the deadline of its Spirit of the Community Awards which was launched earlier this year.
Community groups in York now have until April 12 to enter the awards scheme which will donate £75,000 to organisations making a real difference in their local areas.
Yorkshire Bank will make substantial donations to voluntary groups in each of three categories; education, employability and environment. The aim is to recognise registered charities and not-for-profit groups going the extra mile.
York groups wishing to enter should visit ybonline.co.uk/foundation or go into their local Yorkshire Bank branch to get an application form and further information. Winners will be announced in July.
