THERE were goals galore in the York FA Under-19s Football League as Rawcliffe trounced nine-man Strensall 21-0 and Dringhouses thrashed nine-man Poppleton 16-0.
Callum Ward led the Rawcliffe rout with eight goals, while Robin Jefferson got four and Andy Simpson struck a hat-trick.
Ryan Gothard scored twice and there were also goals for Jack Stevenson, Cody Atkins, George Winfield and Jordan Grose.
Dringhouses’ haul included a treble by Tom Hawksby, two goals apiece for Joe Galloway, James Hudson and Ben Lock, plus strikes by Sam Lake, James Kilmartin, Connor Ryan, Sam Ripley-Kitson, Wilson Briggs, Cameron Mulhearn and Mopipolu Jaiyebo.
Jonah Beecher hit a hat-trick for Copmanthorpe in their 7-1 win over Elvington Harriers.
Nick May netted twice and the tally also included goals from Matt Blackburn and Jamie Storey.
Haxby and Fulford drew 2-2, with James Dunwoody and Nick Turnbull scoring for Fulford.
