PLANS for 14 new homes near an East Yorkshire school could be approved next week.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council planners have recommended support for the proposal to build the houses in a field south of St Mary’s Primary School on Sancton Road, in Market Weighton.
A report which will go before the authority’s planning committee, which meets next Thursday, said the site was outside the town’s current development limits, but the land was suitable because it had good links to the town centre and would help meet local housing needs.
