THESE pictures show a gallery of the people most wanted by British Transport Police in connection with thefts from trains and stations across the region.

As part of a campaign to crack down on offenders, officers are asking the public to help identify suspected thieves who have been caught in camera.

Chief Inspector Glen Alderson said: “If you know any of these people and can tell us who they are, we want to hear from you.

“Our intelligence shows that thieves travel to commit crimes so please look at these photos carefully.

“Although the theft may not have taken place at your local station or on your local service, you may know the person who has committed it.”

Anyone with any information about the incidents, or who recognises anyone pictured in the CCTV images, should phone British Transport Police on 0800 405040.

They need to quoted background log B2/NEA of 08/03/2013, and the reference number of the relevant image.
