'Skins' will return in July.

The E4 teen drama series will make its long-awaited comeback with three new TV films - 'Skins Fire', 'Skins Rise' and 'Skins Pure' - which will feature a several stars from the show's six seasons, and the movie hat-trick is expected to signal the end of the programme for good.

Kaya Scodelario will reprise her role as brunette beauty Effy in 'Skins Fire', which will also see popular characters Naomi (Lily Loveless) and Emily (Kathryn Prescott) return, as well cameo appearances from 'Sherlock' stunner Lara Pulver and 'Facejacker' star Kayvan Novak.

Kaya recently explained: "It's basically a mini film where we want to tell the story of what it's like to go from teenage life to adulthood and what it means to become an adult and how your life changes at that age.

"So these movies are going to be very different from the series, very focused on the characters and a lot more in-depth and cinematic, almost."

Other stars set to return to the show include Jack O'Connell, who will pick up his role of womaniser Cook - who has started working as a drug peddler in Manchester - in 'Skins Rise'.

The film trio will come to a close with 'Skins Pure', which will see Hannah Murray reprise her role of heartbroken and fragile beauty Cassie, who will be all alone in London until she befriends a mysterious stranger.
