WHERE is the dilemma? King Richard III spent the best part of his life in Yorkshire. His supporters in 1483 put on a “second” coronation for him in York Minster.
Why should the last Yorkist king of England be interred anywhere else but the fair city of York?
If he is laid to rest in unimpressive Leicester Cathedral, I am wholeheartedly against it.
I have the happiest memories of my time in the Richard III Society (Norfolk branch), and I wish Richard every blessing in his quest for a fitting final resting place. Loyaulte me lie!
