THIEVES stole a pensioner’s handbag from her supermarket trolley in Selby.
The 88-year-old woman was shopping in Morrisons at Market Cross at midday, on Sunday, when she was distracted and her bag containing cash and keys, was taken.
North Yorkshire Police have issued a description of two women they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The first woman is white, in her early 20s, with long, dark hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
The second woman was also white, wearing a purple top with a dark jacket and leggings. She had fair hair in a ponytail.
