SELBY District Volunteer Centre is holding a pair of events on Thursday to encourage people to become volunteers in the Tadcaster area.
North Yorkshire Volunteer Centres have successfully placed 1,064 volunteers in the past year, and are looking to recruit more in the Selby district to assist in the local library, or help with community activities and support for vulnerable people.
The event will take place at Tadcaster Library between 10am and noon, and Sherburn Library between 2pm and 4pm.
