THE former headteacher of Huby primary school is at it again. Writing books, that is.
Jack Linley – writing as Jack Sheffield – is about to publish the seventh in his popular series of Teacher books.
Like the others in the series, School’s Out relates, with gentle humour, the everyday goings-on at a primary school in fictional Ragley-on-the-Forest: a village which is an amalgam of Huby – where Jack was headteacher from 1977 to 1983 – Stockton-on-the-Forest and Easingwold.
School’s Out will be officially launched at Waterstone’s in York on January 17.
