MORE than 100 holiday lodges could be built at a North Yorkshire amusement park in a £5 million move that would allow it to stay open longer.
Lightwater Valley Attractions Ltd has applied for permission to build 106 timber lodges at the site near Ripon, and says it would boost the local tourism industry.
The proposals will go before Harrogate Borough Council’s planning committee on January 3.
