A POLICE officer from East Yorkshire who sparked a search by his colleagues after failing to turn up for duty has been found safe.
Sergeant Neale Coy, 50, from the Goole area, did not report for his night shift with Humberside Police on Friday, with the force saying it was "totally out of character" for him.
An appeal for Mr Coy to contact his family and friends was issued by the force earlier today, but he has since been found safe and well in Scunthorpe.
