A DRIVER was left suspended upside down by her seatbelt after her Peugeot 306 slid off a North Yorkshire road and overturned.
The 55-year-old woman was rescued by Boroughbridge and Ripon firefighters who cut their way into the car at Thornton Bridge between Cundall and Brafferton, near Boroughbridge.
She was taken to hospital with suspected neck, shoulder blade and collarbone injuries. A male passenger in the car got out without help.
