A YORKSHIRE publisher is celebrating 70 years of publishing books.
The Story of the Pennine Walls was the first venture into the world of books by Dalesman Publishing, publishers of the Dalesman magazine.
The company has gone on to produce more than 1,000 books, the majority of them about Yorkshire and Cumbria.
This month, 70 years after that first book was released, Dalesman continues the tradition, with the publication of its latest range.
This October sees the launch of five new Dalesman books by authors including Ian McMillan and Gervase Phinn.
