TICKETS have gone on sale for this year’s Beverley Literature Festival.
The festival will be back in October for the 12th year running with more than 40 events over 11 days.
Guests will include Baroness Shirley Williams, multi-award-winning author Sarah Waters, international bestseller Kathy Lette, food critic and journalist Jay Rayner and Norwegian crime writer Tore Renberg.
There will also be film screenings, a talk by Larkin biographer James Booth, and workshops on creative writing, romantic comedy writing, and scriptwriting.
Children’s events include Stan Cullimore, former guitarist with The Housemartins and children’s author; Nick Toczek with a one-man show of poetry, puppets, magic and storytelling; and a poetry workshop from James Giddings.
