ALAN Titchmarsh and Ballet Boyz are the latest additions to the bill for the Summer Gala Evening of Song and Dance at the Grand Opera House, York, on July 24.
Unfortunately, Strictly Come Dancing 2010 runner-up and The One Show presenter Matt Baker will no longer be taking part in the fund-raising gala, contrary to the earlier announcement by the theatre.
For one night, the former Royal Ballet principal ballerina, Marguerite Porter, has put together a starstudded line-up that will include Sir Derek Jacobi, Imelda Staunton, Samantha Bond, Wayne Sleep, Alexander Hanson and Richard Clifford, as well as Titchmarsh and Ballet Boyz.
Royal Ballet stars Edward Watson and Elizabeth Harrod will be appearing too, along with students from the Yorkshire Ballet Summer School.
The 7.30pm gala is in aid of the Yorkshire Ballet Summer School Charitable Trust.
