BEEN there, Dunn that, and now the Dinnerladies star from York is doing it again.

York actor Andrew Dunn has already appeared in Victoria Wood’s television series and reprised his sitcom role as female-fixated canteen manager Tony in three tours of the stage spin-off of the same name.

Andy and fellow original television cast member Sue Devaney are teaming up once more as Tony and Jane for Dinnerladies: Second Helpings, booked in to Hull New Theatre from March 7 to 12 for more adventures from the staff canteen of HWD Electronics.

Presented by Classic Comedy Productions, this new production of Wood’s catering comedy features many of the same cast from last year’s tour, which ran for more than 30 weeks.

Andy and Sue are joined by Laura Sheppard as Bren, Liz Bagley as Dolly, Stella Ross as Jean, Emily Butterfield as Twinkle and Krupa Pattani as Anita, together with Barrie Palmer as caretaker Stan, Louise Dumayne as Philippa from human resources and Jacqueline Clarke as Petula, Bren’s dreadful mother.
