The Joseph Rowntree Theatre in Haxby Road is calling for volunteers to help run the theatre, or to join its board of directors and act as trustees of the charity.
The available roles are company secretary and events and fundraising director, however other volunteers are also welcomed to help back stage or with marketing and promotion.
The theatre is home to around 150 regular volunteers, and describes itself as a ‘a vibrant hub of live entertainment, hosting productions from pantomime and musicals staged by talented local groups to touring performances by national and international musicians all year round’.
