Honey G lived to rap another day after the judges saved her in a sing-off with Ryan Lawrie, but fans at home are not happy about it.
She performed a mash-up of Missy Elliott’s hit Get Ur Freak On and Work It, which involved a chant of “I say save, you say… me”, while Ryan performed Ed Sheeran’s Lego House on his guitar.
Judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne all voted to save Honey, with only Nicole Scherzinger backing her contestant Ryan.
Former contestant Gifty Louise could not believe what she was seeing.
Even Piers Morgan was unimpressed.
Other X Factor fans were livid with the decision.
Some fans even compared it to Brexit and the election of Donald Trump.
The X Factor returns on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
