Arlene Phillips wants to join this year’s Strictly – so she can watch Judge Rinder and Greg Rutherford on the dance floor.
Len Goodman is stepping down as Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge, making this year his final series.
Arlene, one of the original judges when the show launched in 2004, was replaced by Alesha Dixon in 2009.
The choreographer told Good Morning Britain she didn’t know whether she’d be asked back.
“Len is going, and as always, when the BBC said goodbye, the BBC do what the BBC want to do, so I have no clue.”
She said she had her eye on Olympic long jumper Greg and Judge Rinder on the next series.
“But I do know that I’d like to be there this year because Greg Rutherford is absolutely adorable! And I think Judge Rinder? Closet dance lover!”
Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell has previously backed Anton Du Beke to fill Len’s soon-to-be vacant seat.
