Rumours about the eagerly awaited date of Sherlock’s return have been circulating for a while – but now Martin Freeman has given us a good indication of when it might be.
The John Watson actor has predicted that series four of the BBC drama will hit our screens over the winter after revealing the cast are currently filming.
He told the Graham Norton Show: “We are back filming now, and the three shows will – I imagine – be out around Christmas”.
He also talked about how fans can get a bit overexcited if they find themselves on set and how they’ve had to be politely reminded that what they’re watching isn’t actually a live gig.
The Graham Norton Show airs on Friday April 29 at 10.35pm on BBC One.
