The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Lily-Rose Depp.

The 16-year-old has joined forces with her famous dad for a role in new comedy-horror film Yoga Hosers – and she’s pretty darn good!

In the first look at the film, Lily-Rose stars as Colleen Collette alongside director Kevin Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith as Colleen McKenzie.

The two play yoga-loving after-school convenience store workers who must team up with “legendary man-hunter Guy Lapointe” (Johnny Depp, nonetheless!) when an ancient portal releases an army of monsters onto their city that threatens their invite to a cool senior boy’s party.

One word of caution about this, it does feature Austin Butler with one of worst fake Canadian accents you’ll ever hear. What can you do, eh?

Yoga Hosers is the second film in Kevin’s True North trilogy, the first being Tusk, a walrus-themed horror, and the upcoming third being Moose Jaws, described as “Jaws with a moose”.

Lily-Rose has climbed the ladder swiftly since she made her acting debut in Tusk as Girl Clerk #2 and has another three films in the pipeline this year.

She showed off her exceptional pedigree as she posed for pictures at the Sundance Film Festival, where the movie debuted on Sunday.

Neither dad Johnny nor mum Vanessa Paradis was in sight but she was joined by co-stars including Austin, Justin Long and Tyler Posey as well as director Kevin.

The film also features Adam Brody, Haley Joel Osment, Natasha Lyonne and a cameo from Marvel’s Stan Lee.
