Apple Music has made a welcomed arrival to millions of music fans across the world and we just couldn’t wait to get our hands on it.
We’ve been teased with indulgent features from the new streaming service and this afternoon we were all able to update our iPhones and greet Apple Music with open arms to see just how good it is.
The service offers to create spot-on personalised playlists, taking inspiration from your current iTunes library as well as allowing you to drop in your favourite music genres and artists, and it had pretty much everyone hooked.
Though some, primarily iPhone 4S users, discovered it wasn’t so easy to enjoy the bright pink bubble novelty – no doubt a glitch Apple will probably be able to fix with a little update.
The little curated section, which is not at all new to streaming services, had us in awe, creating playlists according to the our moods like ‘working out’, ‘partying’, ‘relaxing’ and, erm…
Nevertheless the extensive library of more than 30 million tunes as well as the novel 24-hour radio station Beats 1 hosted by Zane Lowe had music aficionados pretty much sold.
We have to admit though all we really cared about is how it squared up to Spotify and, of course, Jay Z’s recently unveiled streaming service Tidal.
