Sir Elton John has suggested he is ready to retire - again.
The Rocket Man singer announced his plans at a festival in France, where he repeatedly told fans he wanted to spend more time with his sons, according to the Daily Mirror.
But he has threatened to throw in the towel before - in 2010 he claimed he was too old to be a pop star, and in 2012 he talked about wanting to spend more time with Zachary, his only child at the time.
However, Sir Elton still has quite a few tour dates left to honour, with 40 concerts still to come in America and Europe this year.
Sir Elton has two sons with husband David Furnish - Zachary, three, and Elijah, 18 months.
His spokesman later said that fans didn't need to worry about waving farewell just yet, explaining: "Elton was only joking."
