THE York couple behind Millegro, the thriving community choir, are now staging the debut concerts of another choral venture.
Prima Vocal Ensemble was formed in May by musical director Ewa Salecka and pianist Greg Birch, pictured right, and will perform on at 7.30pm on Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, Melrosegate, Heworth.
The 60-strong group of singers have prepared arrangements of music from the film Avatar and the musical Les Miserable, together with jazz and popular standards ranging from Glenn Miller to Sting.
For tickets costing £5 visit primavocalensemble.co.uk or by phone 07704 610888; they will also be for sale on the door, with programmes being sold in support of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
