WHEN York's Britpop titans Shed Seven disbanded in 2003, a dozen people witnessed drummer Alan Leach's only attempt at stand-up comedy...until now.

The first 8pm gig has sold out at The Arts Barge's new riverside home, moored by Tower Gardens in York. Tickets for Saturday's 4pm show are available on 01904 500600 or at greatyorkshirefringe.com to discover the comic schtick of the Sheds' sticksman.
