LEVEL 42 have so much material from 30 years of making music that choosing Wednesday's set list at York Barbican will be a challenge.
Mark King's band have released 14 studio, seven live and six compilation albums and notched up 20 Top 40 singles between 1981and 1994, such as Lessons in Love, The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up), Something About You, Leaving Me Now, To Be With You Again, Running In The Family and Hot Water.
Over the years, Level 42 have played 21 nights at Wembley Arena and sold 30 million albums worldwide. Their back catalogue has been the subject of a re-mastered reissue programme on the Universal Music, Studio Hamburg, and River Records labels.
Tickets for the 7.30pm show are on sale at £27 on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk. On the day, the box office will be open from 5pm; the doors from 6.30pm.
