ACCESS To Music bring their version of South By Southwest to York as part of the Decdence Music Expo on Tuesday at the Arts Foyer, York St John University.

“It’s an exciting time for Access To Music. Our York and Darlington centres have joined forces to become Access To Music North and we’re working towards staging our very first exhibition/trade fair,” says course manager Charlie Daykin.

“It’ll be running from noon to 5pm on Tuesday. Alongside Access To Music’s own student exhibitions, we’ve invited local arts-related businesses and services to join us, and our collaborators will include Ableton, Camel Events and MOR Music to name but just a few.”

Along with the main exhibition space, a networking hub will play host to acoustic performers, presenting the “hottest new beautiful sounds to come from ATM North”, an organisation with a long-standing reputation for developing young musicians and artists.

“There’ll also be talks and demonstrations happening across the various spaces, as well as the opportunity to explore the university and its provision,” says Charlie, on behalf of the Access To Music North Decadence team.

“We’re extremely excited about this new event and any interested parties can register to guarantee their place by emailing us at decadenceexpoinfo@accesstomusic.ac.uk

Please state your name, contact number and the names of any other delegates you wish to bring. Looking forward to seeing you all there.”
