TELEVISION presenter and musician Gareth Icke is inviting York bands to submit their music for consideration for his new show on Sky TV.

York promotion company None More Black are presenting Gareth, the son of public speaker David Icke, in concert at the Fulford Arms on Wednesday evening when entry will be free.

“If any bands or band managers would like to come and chat to Gareth, this would be the ideal opportunity to do so,” says Andy Barclay of Eromeda Entertainment, who have released two solo albums by Gareth since he left the rock band Kody.

Gareth’s two-hour music and arts show on Sky and American Cable will begin in November and will be filmed at an intimate London location.

“I’m giving an opportunity to York bands to submit their music and be in with a chance of international TV and radio exposure,” he says. “The new channel also will have a sister radio station that will broadcast the live music.”
