CITY Screen, York, will be screening four operas via satellite in its first week since re-opening this week after its three-week refurbishment.
On Friday, City Screen will be showing Carmen from the New York Met Opera summer season at midday; on Sunday, Verdi's Falstaff, from Glyndebourne, at 2.30pm; on Monday, Benjamin Britten's Gloriana, from the Royal Opera House, London, at 7.15pm; and on Wednesday, Il Travatore from the New York Met Opera summer season, at midday.
