Nick Sellers likes his prints to be fun. “This works out well since I have a really good time creating them,” says Nick, whose digital works are created on a Mac, using Photoshop and Illustrator and then outputted to limited-edition, artist-quality prints.
His latest exhibition, Contemporary Views, can be seen at Shine, Gillygate, York, where his work includes views of York, the surrounding cities and coastline.
“Born and raised while computers were in their infancy, I’ve had a fascination with both traditional and digital arts,” says Nick, who worked in advertising before studying illustration.
Since graduating, he has focused on designing once more, while keeping up with his art in his spare time.
His exhibition at Shine is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, until June 30; prints are available to buy in a range of sizes.
