AN ASPIRING young artist has been given the opportunity to showcase her work in the offices of a York law firm.
Nichole Dean, 23, who was educated at St Peter’s School and has recently sold works to a collector in New York, has been invited to stage a three-month debut exhibition at the Rowntree Wharf offices of Rollits.
Pat Coyle, of Rollits, said: “We actively seek to support local art and culture and when we discovered Nichole’s links to York we extended an invitation to exhibit her work in the city she grew up in.
“Art can be appreciated absolutely anywhere and I’m certain that by showcasing the work of an up-and-coming local artist we will generate a great deal of new interest in her and her work.”
