PROMOTER Toby Clouston-Jones may be battling against a fortnight's flu but the show must go on at the Other Side Comedy Club in York.
After a short break during the Edinburgh Fringe season, the club returns to action on Sunday in the usual underground setting of the City Screen basement bar with an 8pm bill of Anvil Springstien, Steve Harris and York compere Dan Willis.
Doors open at 7.30pm and ticket prices for the new season of two-hour shows have risen by a £1 to £8, concessions £7. "Tickets have gone up slightly but it's our first price increase in almost four years and we feel that it continues to offer outstanding value for money and gives us the chance to attract even better acts than in previous years," says Toby, still house-bound with the influenza.
