Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva has been given permission to carry on at the Winter Olympics. Shame on the IOC for bowing to pressure from the Russian tsars in charge of ‘sport’ over there. They must be grinning from ear to ear at this outcome.
I know that she is only a tender 15 years of age and most probably being used as a pawn by Russia, but cheating is cheating. Russia should have been banned entirely from all international sporting contests, right across the board. They just do not know when to stop.
