IT is good news that English Heritage has “bowed to public pressure” and decided not to go ahead with a visitor centre by Clifford’s Tower.
This must in no small measure be due to Press reports and particularly due to the sustained efforts in the face of adversity over a long period of time by Cllr Johnny Hayes.
