First up, the Bert Keech Bowls Club, York, pictured during a dinner and dance at the Royal Station Hotel, January 1969.
The event proved a huge success and was attended by 140 members and friends. In the picture Mrs E Keech, left, presents the women's championship trophy to Mrs A Wild, watched by men's champion Mr T A Blacker, second from right, club president Mr A W Turton left and the secretary Mr E Moat, right.
