ON the day Sports Direct bales out House of Fraser, I wonder if Tim Murgatroyd has made up his mind whether he wants the High Street to thrive or die.
In his article (The Press, August 8) he began by writing “it is increasingly obvious that retail is in need of therapy” then by the end of the article he recommends people to spend more time on hobbies relationships, education and community activities in order to alleviate the perceived need for retail therapy.
For someone that preaches to us weekly with his views and recommendations on the disastrous state of the nation as he sees it, perhaps some consistency could be maintained in his ideology.
