Unnecessary costs of name-change JEREMY Hunt has now gained a new title, altered slightly from Secretary of State for Health to Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
These three words ‘and Social Care’ will cost the government thousands of pounds because of the need to change letterheads, compliment slips, business cards and names on doors, to name just those I can think of. But will it make any difference to his job? I think not - although it might elevate him a little having a longer title.
Whether it was of Jeremy Hunt’s doing or Theresa May’s, I do feel that, especially with the NHS in such dire straits, we can do without this further expense, no matter how small a drop in the ocean it is. Isn’t it about time we tried looking after the pennies so the pounds can...
