CREATIVE agency The Beautiful Meme has won a European branding award.
The business, based on Walmgate, went up against the world’s largest advertising agency, Interbrand, which was shortlisted for two projects in the "best use of copy style/tone of voice" category of the Transform Awards.
The Beautiful Meme walked away with a Gold award, while Interbrand took silver and bronze.
Tom Sharp, owner of The Beautiful Meme, said it was a true David and Goliath contest.
He said: “It’s a validation of our work to be competing on a European stage shows that we have got the goods and can be up there with the best in the world. It will be a massive boost when pitching and winning new work.”
