DAIRY ice cream maker Yorvale has turned over nearly £1 million in its best year in its 24-year history.

Ian Buxton, director of the Acaster Malbis-based business, said: “We’re very proud to have grown the business when trading conditions are so tough, but our customers know that they get great tasting ice cream and exceptional customer service when they buy Yorvale.”

New business gains from Langlands in Shiptonthorpe plus contracts to supply ice cream to Waterloo Station for the London stage production of The Railway Children and the Open Golf at Royal St George’s Club have contributed to the double digit growth.
