ANIMALCARE Group has achieved its aim of launching four new products per year in just its first quarter, it will tell shareholders at its annual general meeting today.
The supplier of veterinary medicines, said trading in the first quarter has been satisfactory and continues to be in line with expectations.
It said it had already launched two products in October - Torphasol, an analgesic for horses; Detonervin, an equine sedative, and it also launched an antibiotic for cattle called Tilmodil in September.
It said it would launch Emdocam Equine, an anti-inflammatory for horses, “very soon” and has another product it hopes to launch after that.
In a statement to the stock exchange, the Dunnington-based company said: “We are very pleased that we have launched four new products so early in our financial year with a fifth product looking to launch in the near future.”
It said it was also pleased with the underlying cash flow of the business and subject to shareholder approval at the meeting, it would pay shareholders a dividend of 4 pence per share on November 7.
