LA Maison Du Café has won Best Mobile Catering Experience at the Piper-Heidsieck Racecourse Catering Awards.
The coffee house and outdoor caterers, based at York Racecourse, was set up in 2005 by Tom Hawkins, who supplies mobile units and kiosks to some of the top venues and events around the country, including the Burghley and Badminton Horse Trials, as well as top race courses such as York and Cheltenham.
His specially created own blend of Arabica coffee, served exclusively from his kiosks, is now attracting interest from a range of national supermarkets.
Mr Hawkins said: “It has been a fantastic year for the company and this award is brilliant recognition for all the hard work that goes into creating a premium product and the premium customer service that goes with it.
“I am immensely proud of the team for their achievement.”
