A FORMER property consultant has set up a business watering customers’ plants when they go on holiday.
Sarah Hall, of Holgate, set up Well Watered after she was made redundant from DTZ.
With a husband, Simon, who is a landscape artist who has won a silver medal at Chelsea Flower Show, gardening has always been close to Sarah’s heart.
And when she went on holiday, she realised she could use a service like Well Watered for her allotment.
Sarah, 35, said: “Most gardening companies don’t just do watering while you’re away. I’m targeting people who are very into their gardening, they want to do it themselves but don’t want to lose their hard work when they go on holiday.”
She said that in the long term she would look to extend the business, replicating the model in other areas and working with her husband to offer services to his clients.
