MINSTER Law’s employment law solicitor, David Scott, has been re-elected on to the Industrial Law Society’s executive committee.

The society is a leading forum for debate and understanding of employment law and its application in the workplace, with local meetings held in Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle.

Mr Scott, who is a City of York councillor and former Labour group leader on the council, said: “I enjoyed my first year on the executive and to be re-elected is a real vote of confidence.”

Anyone interested in joining should phone him at Minster Law on 01924 582780. “The society is not just for lawyers but for everyone involved in employment law, including managers, academics, human resources specialists, trade union officials and students,” he said.
