STUDENTS and graduates interested in forging a career in law can get advice on taking the next step at a series of open days in York this month.

The events, being held at The College of Law in York, start tomorrow and will also be held on November 10 and 27.

They will give would-be lawyers an insight into the college’s training courses and the legal profession. Visitors can speak to tutors and students about the courses, the different areas of law in which to practice and how to make the right career choice.

The open days are aimed at degree students and graduates in law and non-law subjects, including both recent graduates and people wishing to change career.

The event on November 10 also includes a Law Fair allowing future students to meet representatives from law firms across the region.

Paul Aber, director of the College’s York centre, said: “The college prides itself on offering its students the flexibility to choose from a range of full-time, part-time and online courses to help them achieve their career aspirations.

“Our open days give potential students the opportunity to see for themselves the first-class tuition, impressive facilities and unrivalled careers advice available here at the York centre.”
