SINCE our launch last year, York Business School (YBS) has made a significant contribution to the local economy. One of the stated objectives of the school is to focus on developing mutually beneficial links to local industry.

This has been particularly successful in respect of the levy-fund degree apprenticeship scheme at both undergraduate and master’s level.

The Undergraduate Chartered Management Degree in the Leadership and Management commenced in October 2018, with a cohort consisting of students from both private and public sector joining us on the journey to gaining a degree. The Executive MBA followed later in the same month. Such was the interest and the demand for these places that two cohorts were required to accommodate the volume of students.

The Executive MBA is delivered in partnership with Primeast, a management consulting group specialising in developing and inspiring talent within organisations. Its clients include Google, Honda and Rolls Royce.

A key feature in the development of York Business School is the development and delivery of high-quality education and training programmes in collaboration with partners who can help create leading edge, game changing provision, which will transform the way people think about problems and facilitate creative and innovative solutions to all types of business issues.

We are proud to be a Business School at the heart of the local community, with a global perspective. We always strive to find ways to provide the best possible service to our wide range of partners.
