THE deadline is approaching for a new awards scheme set up to celebrate York’s hospitality industry.
Tomorrow is the last day to get entries in for the very first York Hospitality Awards, hosted by Visit York.
The new awards will recognise the people working behind the scenes to deliver first class customer service to York’s visitors and residents.
The inaugural ceremony will take place on September 26 at Everyman Cinema.
Businesses from across the hospitality sector including accommodation, restaurants, pubs, bars and more have until tomorrow to put forward their staff nominations. Designed to complement the annual Visit York Tourism Awards which take place in June each year, these new awards are set to delve even further to showcase and reward the individuals working within York’s award-winning tourism businesses.
